Tawonga Vineyard
The Tawonga Vineyard winery is situated at Tawonga in the Kiewa Valley, looking out towards Mt Bogong.  
It is part of the Alpine Valleys Region in North East Victoria.
The combination of soil and climate is particularly well suited to the production of premium quality wine grapes.  

Our aim is to produce premium, full flavoured wines that reflect the cool climate of the area, while keeping the price reasonable.

The wine will generally be in limited supply as we believe that quality should always be our first priority. We only use premium grade fruit and hand make each wine as a small batch.

All wines are produced on site from grapes grown in the cool climate sections of both the Kiewa and King Valleys.  Winemaker is John Adams,  a Wine Science Degree graduate of Charles Sturt University, who has also held senior winemaking positions in France.

The winery started with small trial quantities of wine in 1993 and the first commercial wine was produced in 1994. 
Since then consistent high quality has been achieved, resulting in the majority of our wines shown receiving awards:      Click to see Medals

Most of our wine is sold direct to the consumer and freighted door to door  throughout Australia.   Contact us to arrange direct purchases.  We have cellar door tasting and sales by arrangement (which only needs a phone call to check that we are about!).  John also runs wine appreciation courses for interested groups.
